How is my toll determined?

Axle based tolling is the North American industry standard for tolling systems. It charges tolls based on the number of axles on a vehicle rather than registered gross vehicle weight classification. For a vehicle with two axles and a single rear wheel (including motorcycles) the MACPASS charge remains $0.60 ($0.75 if paying with cash).

Changes to tolls for larger vehicles will depend. Some users will see a drop in their toll rates, others will see no change, and some classes will see an increase.
